Beena Sadarangani AKA Bombay Cat

Vice President in charge of Business Development

Beena Sadarangani brings with her over 20 years of experience in the Corporate Sector. Having worked with Top Airlines like Air Canada and Emirates for several years, she moved on to join the Banking Industry and was instrumental in setting up from a Liaison Office the Branch Office in Bombay of a major Japanese Bank namely the Sumitomo Bank Limited heading their Administration Department for several years.

She also successfully set up a Business Consultancy Service for Multinational Companies where she was instrumental in setting up their entire operations in Mumbai. Beena’s foray into the Entertainment Industry started in 2006 with Producing and Acting in a Short Film "DIM" which was officially selected for The New York Film Festival, The San Francisco Short Film Festival and Festival De Cine Barcelona International. She also coordinated a major part of the Manhattan Short Film Festival event in Mumbai in 2010. She was instrumental in setting up Hanuman Media and Co-Funded the Company. She is also the Executive Producer in Hanuman Media's Web Series ‘Bollywood to Hollywood’ which won 3 awards at the 2011 Los Angeles Web-Fest and was one of the 11 shows to be picked by the Marseille Web-Fest, France to be showcased in October 2011. Beena is the Executive Producer on the Short Film "IN TRANSIT" directed by Remi award winner Stev Elam and produced by Hanuman Media.
